In Detail
Read how each oud fragrance is built, note by note, so you can match it to the mood you are after.
Oud, sandalwood and tobacco leaf with a thread of vanilla rounding the edges so the wood never turns harsh. Dry, smoky and refined. A cold-weather scent that sits close and lasts.
Shop Cigar ShopHeavy oud with amber, spice and a leathery edge. Rich, dark and unapologetically loud. The most intense scent in the range and the one built for cold nights and big rooms.
Shop Desert StormOud and vanilla is an unusual pairing and this is not a quiet scent. Leather roughens it, florals soften it, and the result is animalic and creamy in the same breath. People either love it immediately or not at all.

About Oud
Oud comes from the resin of agarwood and it is one of the most expensive materials a perfumer can reach for, which is why it anchors so many high end releases. It smells dark, warm and faintly animalic, and a little of it goes a long way. In these three blends oud is never left on its own. It is framed by sandalwood and tobacco, by amber and leather, or by vanilla and floral, so the raw resin turns into something you can actually wear rather than a raw ingredient. The result is depth without harshness.
Concentration
Every Millian fragrance is blended at a minimum 25% concentration, the fragrance-oil load that separates an eau de parfum from a lighter eau de toilette. It is the single number that most affects how a scent performs on skin, and we publish it because most brands do not.
Made
The oils are composed in Grasse, then shipped, decanted, bottled and finished here in Sydney. Doing the final step locally is what lets us sell an eau de parfum at $55 instead of the $180 the same concentration usually costs in an Australian department store, and a share of every bottle goes to men's mental-health charities.
Buying Guide
Oud is a commitment, so the question is less about quality and more about how loud and how sweet you want it.
Every bottle is the same $55, so this is a choice about character rather than price.
Shop the rangeDesert Storm carries furthest and announces itself across a room, while Cigar Shop sits closer to the skin. If you want presence, go big. If you want restraint, stay dry and smoky.
Oud suits cool weather and evenings far better than heat. These blends feel richest when the air is cold, so they earn their place from autumn through winter.
Velour leans creamy with its vanilla and floral, Cigar Shop stays dry, and Desert Storm turns spicy and leathery. Sweetness is the fastest way to narrow the three down.
Oud is polarising and skin chemistry shifts it, so wear it for a full day before you decide. What smells heavy at first often settles into something smoother.
Our Method
A fragrance appears here only if it genuinely fits the category, taken from its blend sheet rather than from how it is described.
The lighter, more wearable blends lead; the heavier, more specific ones follow. That ordering is a judgement about range, not about quality.
We describe how each fragrance is built and who it tends to suit. We do not score them against each other, and we do not run independent wear trials.
Scent is subjective and skin chemistry changes how a fragrance develops. Notes, sizes and prices on this page are taken from our own formulations and are accurate at time of publication. Descriptions of how a fragrance wears are our opinion, not the result of independent testing.
Questions
It depends on how bold you want to go. Desert Storm is the most intense oud in the Millian range, Cigar Shop is the most refined and wearable, and Velour is the most unusual. All three are eau de parfum at a minimum 25% concentration.
Every Millian oud perfume is $55 for a 50ml eau de parfum. The price is the same across the whole range, so choosing between them is about character rather than budget.
The oils are composed in France, then shipped to Sydney where each fragrance is decanted, bottled and finished. Doing the last step locally is what keeps a 25% eau de parfum at $55.
Oud tends to feel heavy in heat and comes alive in the cold. These blends are best kept for cool weather and evenings, when the resin and spice have room to breathe.
Cigar Shop and Desert Storm lean masculine, while Velour is unisex. Oud itself is not gendered, so wear whichever suits you regardless of the label.
Oud is dark, warm and slightly animalic, drawn from the resin of agarwood. On its own it can be sharp, so these blends soften it with wood, amber, leather or vanilla to make it wearable.
